John Sassaman was pronounced dead on Sunday, Oct. 2 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest after the crash just before 1 a.m. on the 400 Block of S. 24th Street, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
The Salisbury Township resident died of complications from multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said. His manner of death was determined to be accidental.
Further details about the crash were not immediately known.
The incident remains under investigation by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, Allentown Police Department and Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
